Appetite Direct has been serving delicious meals to guests at Winton House, near Edinburgh, since 2010..
The powerful Seton family with its royal connections owned Winton’s estates before the Magna Carta was signed and built ‘Winton Castle’ before Leonardo da Vinci established his reputation. Now known as Winton House, the Seton’s architect, the King's Master Mason, created the House’s remarkable carved, twisted chimneys which still herald the palace within. His ornate plaster ceilings are the most elaborate in Scotland.
Winton House is grand but not aloof. Guests always receive a warm welcome and enjoy its relaxed ambience.
Winton House can be exclusively yours for memorable parties, special celebrations, dinners, lunches or barbeques. The House works well for conference and meetings combined with activity days and team- building events (from clay pigeon shooting and highland games to wine and Champagne tasting). And for a truly Scottish Wedding, Winton House is a dream location!
With its six inter-connecting reception rooms, Winton House’s flexible layout and extensive gardens means that it can cater well for corporate or private dinners and lunches for 10 to 120 people, for receptions of up to 250 people, and for up to 400 in a marquee.
